What is a sport 1500?
when ever i go to get parts from like autozone or places like that they have never asked me if it was an st,slt, ect package, they just want to know what year, notot size and if its 2 or 4 wheel drive
AHHHH thats what I was looking for thank you very much. Just about every online aftermarket parts site asks what model it is and I was aplying SLT but I realy had no idea if that was right or not.
Well mine is an 08' so I dont know if that got changed sometime over the last couple years I would guess.
And I am with you on not liking the 20's on my 4x4. I got new tires and wheels the first week I had my new truck and managed to sell off my stockers for $900. SO all in all I got the tires and wheels I wanted for $700 out of pocket.

Lets see if I get this right...
When you order a truck, you order cab style, drivetrain options, then trim packages. You have the ST, SLT, then the Laramie packages. Now if what I believe is right, after you decided what trim package you want, you have the option to add a sport package, which typically is just a cosmetic option.
Bare with me. I know the ferds, (yes, i know, but its to make a point), you can order an f250 with the sport package. Painted mirrors, bumpers, and black leather. But because you can get the sport package with the XLT trim, you alwso get the 17" wheels, and mid grade accessories. However when ordered with the Lariat sport package, you can get the 20" wheels, back up sensors, etc.
I hope I got that right.... sport is just an appearance package, on top of the base trim level that has been ordered.
