get um alpheus...haha

Ok here ya go. Don't argue with me, I don't want to hear your replies, just stating the facts. These electric superchargers do not do what a supercharger does? Pushing air is just part of it...COMPRESSING air is the key. These things cannot push enough air to do that. The plastic structure would implode from pressure!

heres a link for a video showing the result..just watch..

I'd love it if it worked. And combined with other things, you can specifically design an alum/steel electric supercharger to work, for sure. Not on an engine that isn't designed for it.

I'll send you a oscillating fan and even throw in a water bottle hydrogen generator for free, all for $499

How so? It's basically the same concept as a turbo but driven off electricity. Even if there is no pressure, it's still providing a greater air flow through the intake which in turn produces better hp/mpg. I'm not by any means saying it is even closley effective as a true forced induction system.

Without pressure you cannot force anymore air in the intake than it already is getting.

I guess my comp at the hospital doesnt work??? I posted like 5 hours ago....

anyway, this is really a question of quality....yes, this quite possibly could be great! But take a small plastic 12V fan and think of how fast it could possibly spin. Maybe 3K RPM? It would need closer to 10K RPM to do what a real supercharger does (minus the fact that this plastic cannot hold the pressure of condensed air)

This can be done and help, no doubt. Are there aftermarket ones that help? probably, but not many. I have not found one yet with good reviews but im optimistic about it...it would be great!

What a joke! In order to make that much power, you would have to "force" air into the engine. Which is what superchargers do. You can't slap something on and not do any ecu mods or whatnot.

Here's is the first line of that article which you linked us to.
Theoretically speaking electrically powered superchargers should have enormous advantages over conventional types.

I would have stopped reading after the first 2 words. It's a waste of time. Now, instead, you have me copying and typing about this garbage product. More of a waste of time....lol j/k..hehe
