Mine wouldn't be a good compairison either, I bought mine in 05' with 23 miles on it (no miss print it really only had 23 miles on it) and drove it off the lot for 27k (It sucks how prices change over the years considering you can now buy a quadcab 09' sport for that price)

Purchased my 2004 4X4 last month from a private seller for $10K. Had a little more mileage than I like. However, the service record I received from the local dealership was impeccable. Every oil change, repair etc. Just keep your eyes open! Good luck!

Bought mine a couple months ago off an auction on EBay for $14,000. Had 50k mi on it. I had a 2000 Dakota QC I sold at Carmax for $4,000, so the net was $10,000. I thought it was worth it. Beats a $500/mo payment or $35-40k new.

Mine is loaded with almost every option incl leather and sunroof, except Navi. It has a RollnLock which is approx $1500 installed...this was a good selling point for me.

I've put a couple thousand into already with some goodies. But I plan to drive for a while. I bought the Dakota new and drove it for 110,000 mi.

I bought mine a little over a year ago. Mine isnt a HEMI, however, so take that into consideration. I have an 04 4.7, 4x4, quad cab SLT. It had 45,000 miles on it, and they gave me a 4 year, 40,000 mile warranty on top of what was on it. OTD @ $12,500. Dealership.

Bought mine Sept. 08. for 14k, SLT Sport 1500 QC 4x4 Hemi with 45,000 on the clock. I feel that was a fair price in the truck market at the time.

Bought mine used about a year ago, with a little over 10,000 miles for around 14k.
