Every time I go through the car wash and it bends the crap out of the stock antenna it makes me want one of these.

You should do it Teach! Not expensive at all, and since your truck is already smoked out basically, add a little black antenna to it, it would look great.

As stated above....How about the signal. Is it still good compared to the longer stock antenna?

since this is an antenna thread. Anyone know how to tighten the bracket that the antenna screws into. Mine is a bit loose and I can't seem to tighten in from the inside or out. Also im gonna look into a small black one. Hmm.

My antenna came with a different screw... insert it into the housing on the truck, hand tight... Then twist on ur antenna... mine came with a rubber cover to tighten it and so i wont scratch off the paint with channel locks. My reception is good. actually better then the stocker... for some reason with my HIDs on I would get terrible interferance with my radio stations.... Now with the different antenna its not as bad...

I only tried it out for a min or so, but it sounded just like before, but I always just have my Ipod connected...Always something good to listen to on there
