My antenna came with a different screw... insert it into the housing on the truck, hand tight... Then twist on ur antenna... mine came with a rubber cover to tighten it and so i wont scratch off the paint with channel locks. My reception is good. actually better then the stocker... for some reason with my HIDs on I would get terrible interferance with my radio stations.... Now with the different antenna its not as bad...

DAMN IT! Mine came in the mail yesterday but the piece that screws into the base is too short to also connect the antenna. I guess they sent me the wrong connector. So annoying since it tooks almost two weeks to come in after I ordered it. I just emailed them and waiting for a response.

I was trying to install my new stubby antenna over my lunch break and I just broke my old stock antenna trying to get it to screw off. Now I have a similar situation to this guy. A busted threaded nut underneath the chrome nut/mount. Sigh...

Did you ever get this problem fixed? I just got mine in the mail and I have the same issue, 7 addaptors and not one is correct!
