Yep, mine weighs 5260. It needs a diet... I took it to a scale and weighed it, with a full tank of fuel.

GVWR is the total weight that the truck along with cargo can weigh, not the weight of the truck alone. I don't know exactly how much the 2002 varies from the 2008, but according to my pamphlet for the 08's, your truck (assuming a 4.7L engine) has a 1420 lb capacity, so subtract that from the 6350 lbs, and you get 4930 lbs. The HEMI engine apparently weighs 20 lbs more, because the capacity is 1400lbs, so the weight of the truck would be 4950 lbs.

08 QC Hemi weighs 5560lbs stock. I took some old furniture to the county dump and had to weigh in and out on electronic scales last week. They were gov't scales, so who really knows.

hell, be glad you don't have friends like mine! first of all, i was walking one night with my girlfriend and found a car headlight on the sidewalk, most random thing to find in my opinion. so i grabbed it and took it back to my room. sure enough, my buddies are outside and start throwing snowballs at my window, i wanted them to leave, so i told my buddy that someone destroyed the front end of his ram, and that i grabbed a headlight for proof he flipped and ran to his truck in the parking lot of the dorm. i didn't think anything of it because i had finally got my friends to go away, leaving me with the girlfriend...

fast forward to the next morning, when i go out to my truck...

They got me with every trick they had, almost got me with the drag flag trick too, but i saw the bags under my bumper. they also got me with putting balogne on my fan, so it SPRAYED the engine bay in meat. they also put the meat in my calipers, so my brakes got screwed up, DAMN! my favorite was the sundrop bottles on my mirrors though.

yes, those are marshmallows in my grille, in my lights, in my gascap, bumpers, antenna, door handles, and everywhere else.
