04 Ram frontend rattle HELP

Default 04 Ram frontend rattle HELP

OKay so i bought the truck used with 40,000 miles on it a year ago and there is a front end rattle on the pasanger side when i go over bumps. a guy told me it might be the rack and pinion, is there any truth to this. i cant find the rattle anywhere. its really annoying. the trucks an 04 hemi ram 4x4 . any help please

I had the same exact problem....it turned out to be the sway bar end links.

was the tie rod on mine.

Mine was doing the same thing,it was slack in the rack and pinion.i replaced mine and it fixed the problem.

i got the same thing on my drivers side.....cant find it for the life of me yet...very annoying.

i think im just going to have to try the rack and pinion... its the only thing i cant figure out how to test ...everything else i have tried

Check the sway bar bushings too. Mine would only rattle when it was cold out but they'd squeak when it warmed up.

Ive had this problem for 4 months now did you ever figure out what it was???
