Default I need help deciding which of these two CAI's to buy?

I am undecided about which CAI I should buy. I am looking between two right now to fit my 05 ram 1500 4.7. I am looking at the K&N 57 series FIPK and the True Flow XDI. The XDI seems like it would flow more air than the K&N, but I don't know. I guess what I am looking for is who has experience with either of these two intakes and would you recommend it?

I dropped in a S&B rechargeable filter. Cost me $35 shipped. i just can't justify spending $250+ on any CAI. it doesn't do enough for me to justify that kind of expense for the power ouput. Get a few elbow's for $15 if you wanna remove the Hemi hat. I think that's maybe good for 2-3rwhp topps.
I decided to buy a Predator inplace of a CAI. Ofcourse it was only $30 more than the Volant set-up I liked.

What makes it so awesome? Just sorta curious? is it because it makes a diff sound? is that worth the added expense?
For that money you could go HID, bedliner, tonneau cover, floor mats, foglights, running boards...etc..

I voted other for any of the many aem/mopar knockoffs then pick your filter. You can get them for between $70-350.

all of your alternatives are appearance only, and hes asking about intake performance opinions here.

I say K&N, but get a used one, dont pay brand new prices cause the used ones are just as good i.m.o.

I have always liked the K&N, but the True Flow extra heavy duty intake has a larger opening and I believe will flow more air. Whatever I get it will be flowing through new headers, Free flowing cats, and a Magnaflow 5x8 muffler that is a 14'' body. The FM50 I have sounds great, but its too restrictive and I think that Magnaflow will sound awesome with that set up!

The BFI should fit, you just might need a different coupler on the end. If you gonna drop 275 or more on it the BFI is best from what I have heard. Plus you could use it as an excuse to get a bigger TB (don't know if they make em for 4.7's) or a fastman ported one at the very least.
