Lookin for a black strip, bout 4" tall I guess, to block the sun. Anybody have one that they like? Where did you get it from?

 

cant you get it done at the tint shop?

 

Advance auto or autozone prob. have vinyl strips, but they will fade over time.
best bet is to get it tinted and go 6" down not 4.

You just want to reduce glare, not completely block vision off. 4" isn't low enough really. 6" will be goo and still allow you to see traffic lights if you get a bit too close.

Just wanted to see if anyone has one they got for cheap that fits right and such. Don't know how much a tint shop will ask for it.

I got one on my old dakota done for $20 cash.. I wanna get one on daytona this summer.

 

Tint shop can do it. Im getting mine done this saturday.

 

They put it on the inside or the outside? Wouldn't the mirror be a pain if its on the inside?

 

It goes on the inside and it should only be like 20-30 bucks installed and go the 6" other wise it wont be enough and a tint shop is the best way to go and they either take the mirror off or somehow get it around it

 

I had mine done when I tinted my windows. The tint guy just did it for free, didn't add anything extra than what he quoted for my windows...
