IFS&Lift Questions
Hey all,
I have a 2002 dodge ram 1500 4x4 Laramie 360 auto. When I'm goin over potholes, etc, it feels clunky as heck in the front. Shocks and anti sway link bushings are good. Nice and tight. Ball joints are great. Could this be caused by the bushings in the A-Arms? How hard is it to replace em?
Secondly,
I'm going to run a 6" fabtech lift, with a 3" body lift, and run 38x15.50R20's. Anybody see any issues with this? It's been done on a lot of 1500's before, and so far no problems with the IFS.
Oh, here's the best question. My overhead compass deal won't turn on, is there a way to diagnose this? How do you remove the console safely? I can test it with a multimeter, if not is this common? What do you think

I won't say that you WILL have a catastrophic failure, but it's much more likely and you will be going through front end components about as frequently as you change your socks.
You want 9" of lift and tires of that size and do anything more than ride the neighborhood to show it off, then it's a solid front axle truck you should have bought...
