ok, search after search im looking for instructions and a parts list to do this project. i found many pictures, some say 3" some say 4" (please don't get mad).

I don't get it? What exactly are you saying and asking? You aren't making sense.

As far as the title, that exact title was posted up just a day or two ago. i don't think anyone has done a complete write up and listed exact parts as many guys want diff things. Personally, there's not much extra power to be had by concocting a homemade set-up. Just drop in a better flowing airfilter and call it a day.

yea it adds performance not alot though. you will gain prob 1-2mpgs

thanks, the x-tra fuel milage will be nice. it also makes it sound a little better right? (sorry i try not to say much here)

you will get a few more mpg's and it will sound nice what ever you build up will be fine but it all counts in the filter . just rember this... more air in and a good path out (exhaust) will give you your best gains.

good advice, thank you. im on a low budget right now and this project is affordable for me. also i want to key the front and get new tires in the near future, then i will post a pic of the blue beast.

+1. even just cutting out the stock muffler for a straight through one will make the intake worth more across the board in performance and MPG's.

thanks, that sounds like a cheaper mod i can do myself also. does the stock muffler have stagered pipes in & out that restrict air flow? what would be good a replacement?
