Hey guys I have the SC 3815 on my 05 4.7. I was just curious as to see what you all have your Rev Limiter, 1-2 WOT shift points, and 2-3 WOT shift points set at?

6410? Does the Hemi have a higher rev limit? Mine only goes to 6300.

I put my rev limiter at 6000 and the the programmer had the shift points set themselves after that and i left them that way.I hadn't had no problems with it so it must be good to go

The rev limit can be set up as high as 6500 with the 3815. My truck never gets close to that or the 6410 I have it set at. It shifts pretty fast and doesn't really get past 6200 according to data logging.

Shifts at 6100 sounds steep. But I asked this question a while ago, after watching a youtube vid. I noticed the guy had his shift points at 6100 as well. Sounds like this is pretty normal though.

When I finally get mine, I will play with it a little, but I think I might ultimately end up shifting at 5900. 4.7 doesnt seem long winded enough to carry to 6200 to shift...

best way to go about it is using a dyno chart. See to what rpms the motor is making power. It might rev all the way up to 62-6500, but if it stops making power at 5800, no sense in winding it out that much. I learned a little of this with my mustang. If I waited any later then 58-5900 to shift, I was losing ground.

Obviously, dyno charts for a 4.7 are prolly scarce, but I havent tried looking either.

Also, this is more opinion then anything, take it for the .2 its worth

Set the rev limiter at 6000, set the 1-2 at 5800 and set the 2-3 at 5750, there are many threads that state the 4.7 power maxs out around 5800 (give or take)
This is general, start with this and you may have to go up or down slightly for your vehicle

Since I haven't updated mine, my rev limiter will only go up to 6300. Everything on mine is maxed out as high as the SC will let me. I believe its something like this: Rev Limiter-6300, 1-2 WOT-6100, 2-3 WOT-6050. It feels much much better than the standard 91 performance tune and gives the truck a bit more pep to it. Although mine is the 5.7 not the 4.7

The best way that I have found for setting the whist points and rev limit is to start with the settings the tune gives you and do a times run. Then start adjusting them until you find what gives you the best time. That is the way I found mine and while my setting don't work for everyone, I know that they give me the best times that I can get out of my truck.
