4.56 gears should be a must as well to keep the rpm's in the sweet spot.

I am guessing that you have a Hemi??

 

i didnt wanna start this, never should have. this isnt a bidding war, but they go cheaper than that all day long. post an ad in the FS section and see what happens, or try to sell it on ebay is your best bet then. they are 318 shipped, brand new.

$275 might be a little high for a used SC. Unfortunately, LXman hit what I was going to say. Im surprised froggy didnt say it either. GEARS!!! Go gears first. You want to build your truck around the running gear you are going to have when its done. Start with gears, then find you a turbo kit.

It doesn't really work that way with exhaust. You need the flow matched to the motors needs. If you don't have a big cam and heads, then you don't have enough back pressure. You're shooting yourself in the foot here and then trying to run a race.

 

I wasn't trying to start a bid war I payed close to 400 shipped for it so dont really want to sell it for half :-/ If 275 is too steep feel free to make a offer? I have a Hemi yes, I also have a underdrive pulley and electric fan I forgot to mention. I would rather not mess with gears as my 4Runner was a ***** f**ka to do. Its already got the 3.96 gears I believe. I have a left over turbo from my integra I am still playing with the idea of using it but really am not a fan of fabrication. About the exhaust I might just throw a cherry bomb on it I dont really wanna mess with the stock muffler/resonator. I am planning on getting some SuperMaxx headers and just running some purple hornies behind them, would that work better?

 

You probably have 3.92's. Im telling you, just find some gears online. The cheapest price you will find new is at moe's for 599. Have somebody install them. 99% of the guys on this forum will not tackle their own gears in these rams. You are going to get a hell of a 'in the a$$' jump.
