Default Wish I had a Solid Front Axel right about now

So I was looking at tires on 4wheelparts and I saw dick cepek fcII's on sale for 151.99. Not just any tire though, they were 375x60x18's. If only I had a SFA diesel truck right about now I would jump all over that! Somehow I think the 05 1500 w/4.7 would have problems with them. lol Especially my power steering. I wish I could mount them though cuz that would be pimp as all hell! It would probably drop me from 15mpg to like 10. lol

I am pretty sure DodgeNitto runs tires about that size. Those are 36's correct? I think he actually runs 37's with a leveling kit and 3" body. Of course I don't think he has the 4.7, lol.

He has a Hemi, and he did have to do some trimming.

I was seriously looking into 37s and adding a 3" body lift, to give me 7" of total lift, but I was looking at my grill guard that's mounted to the frame and see an issue there, since the holes in the bumper for the mounts won't line up, plus the hoops for the headlights will sit 3" low, and look stupid, so I guess I'm gonna stay where I'm at and with the 35s. I'll just have to put my money into performance mods like the cam, torque converter, etc...

Are you going to add a BL to your level kit to make those fit? And are you going to use DC1 18x12 rims to mount them? How far outside the extend a flares do you think those tires will be?

And Nitto has 37x13.5x20's. They measure out to be 37x14.1x20 though. These tires will be 36x15.5's. they measure out a full 1.4in's wider. The tread path alone is over a foot wide. lol

The 33x12.5x18 is priced similar, the 18" size is overstocked, do not sell near like the 15,16,17 & 20s do. Would be a good time for a tire/wheel upgrade for some of you guys. You'd basically get both for near the regular price of the tires alone.
And the FCII is a top rated tire, has been for years!!!

Yeah but with 18'' rims on 33's there will be harly any sidewall. I really wish we could squeeze 16's or even 15's on there. lol
