Default high idle

i have an 07 qcsb hemi with cai, edge, throttle body spacer. it used to start, then go to a higher idle for a few secs, then slow down to under 1k. since i put on the aero muffler, it stays at a high idle for a longer time, it takes about a minute to return to idle. anybody know what this is? thanks

Spacer could have a leak.....other than that exhaust has nothing to do with idle.

it runs and idles perfect after a minute or so. wouldn't a vacuum leak keep the idle high?

I'd get rid of the spacer, it's absolutely useless.

Yes it would....wouldn't hurt to spray some carb cleaner around the TB just to make sure.

If nothing else changed except for exhaust i'm thinking you're just noticing the idle more now that it's louder.

My truck idles up kinda high at first crank in the morning and stays upo there for about a minute or so. Dunno if this helps, but i agree with the Useless comment. Take it off and throw it up on Egay. Take the few bucks you'll get for it and go buy your girl an icecream cone....lmao
