ok while drunk i thaught of somethin hear me out......we all have a C.A.I of some sort and the bigest prob with them is heat from the engin bay right? well what if we piped it from the TB to the cab and put the filter in there. now you can controll the air temp the engin sucks. makes since????
or maby i should stop drinkin lol

 

Then you would be starving for air inside the cab not to mention all the noise it would create!
Just find some insulation wrap and line the ouside of the CAI pipe with it. This will reduce the pipe temps considerably. While it won't look all that great, it will help out alot. I did this to my mustang for dyno purposes. i used header heat wrap. It lowered temps from 180* at full boost down to 160*

 

Those are nice numbers dirty. I cant believe it helped that much!
