06 RMK 900---I haven't really noticed any difference in MPG but that may be because I love the low rumble sound and can't keep my foot out of it since I installed the muffler. As far as HP goes, it did seem to add a little zip to it.

Bluesmanjesse---It wasn't the truck. The house went up for sale before I bought the truck. I think they were just pissed off because I didn't mow my lawn till it was knee high!!!

ArkHemi,
I have a few questions:

1.Did you install it yourself?
2.Did you have to add extra pipe to make up the length difference?
3.How did you overcome the offset outlet of the stock tailpipe?

To answer your questions:

1. No. I took it to a local Brake and Tire shop that also does exhaust systems

2. Yes, the guy who installed it did have to add a little extra pipe.

3. That would be a question for the installer. I have no idea. Sorry.

when i had my first one put on i watched the guy do the whole thing. he just cut the muffler off welded the at3030 on and measured and bent to make it exit the same place as stock to show off my tip. i just bought an at3030 last night to replace my flo master with a broken baffle. im just going to have him dump it like it is right now.

Oklahemi, you'll have to make a clip of that when you get it installed. I'd be interested to see how much louder the 3030 is from the 3030XL.

How much did that run you if you dont mind me asking?? I am getting quotes of $350ish to do a Flowmaster cat-back system and I would rather not spend that much if I could get the rumble I like. I am not looking for real loud either..just louder than stock.

The muffler was around 170.00 and I had a local shop install it and the chrome tip for 50.00!!!
