Where is the resonator usually located? I need to look and see if I have one.

On the 06 it is right behind the rear wheel well and just before the pipe comes out behind the wheel.

I've got an 07 and don't think it has one either.

I'm getting ready to have the magnaflow Y pipe installed and swap the magnaflow muffler thats on it for a Flowmaster 50.

Any input on how the in-cab noise is at highway speeds ? I'm going to be running 2000-2200rpm at 60-70mph so I'm looking to ditch my Delta 50 Dronemaster . . .

with my unresonated at3030 there is next to no drone at those rpms. the only drone that you can hear in the cab with the windows up is about 1500-1700. but i usually never cruise at those rpms anyways. other than that, the muffler is loud, but sounds good, and doesnt have a horrible drone like most flowmasters.

I would say on mine that there is little to no drone at all at highway speeds. I have MDS turned off so that isn't a problem either.

Just wanted to thank ArkHemi for posting this one. It helped me make my decision for the resonated (XL) version. I just had it installed yesterday. The shop custum bent a 3" stainless pipe and routed it pretty much the same as stock. For the muffler, stainless pipe, tip, and install I paid about $360. It's plenty loud and it performs awesome. I haven't told the wife about it yet though. I can't wait to see her face when I first start it up for her.
