Thanks for the info. I put mine in the trans cooler line-I should have read this first, but...silly me . I would rather have put it in the trans itself. Anyways, I drove the truck around and realized it wasn't working. If you put the tee in the rubber line, you need to ground the tee to make it work.

What year is your truck? I did a quick look under at my trans. and could not find this third port that you put the sensor in. I have a 2002 4.7 auto. I would assume it is the same, yes??

mines an 05 with the 5 speed auto. the ports are on the right side of the trans
