8 turns is a lot. I tried turning them all the way in once just to see how far it would actually lift the front and it might have been 8 turns. Makes me think that yours may have been backed out a little already.

I changed the keys to the rough country leveling kit and cranked mine til bout 1/4" of bolt is still out. I have bout 40" ground to fender all the way around. My truck is a lil stiffer in the front but not as bad as I thought it would be. I like it! it feels like a dam truck now!! And looks great too.

you really don't need longer shocks. unless you crank the **** out of them and do some stuff that would really extend them, you'll be fine with stockers. I think most stock shocks are fine 0-2"

I agree. Up to 2" maybe 2.5" you shouldn't need new shocks, just make sure to get an alignment.
