Truck looks real good man. That clay bar really does the trick. I did mine last week and I love it. Well thats all I'm going to say...I was going to suggest something to do to your truck but I might get fussed at by a NUBIE!

Newbie? LOL! I've been around a while. I just don't post much.

I didn't mean to come off like that. Suggestions are great if guys ask for them. If you ask everyone what they think, then you better have some thick skin if guys end up posting negatively about what you've done.

All I was trying to say is they guy was PROUD of how nice his truck looked after claying and posted up because he wanted some feedback from it. He probably logged on and saw what everyone thought he should do to his truck and felt bad about what he owned. Might have gone outside and kicked it too after that. LOL!

My point was just to be yourself with it. If everyone debadges and murders out, all we'll end up with is a bunch of cookie-cutter trucks running around.

well I'll tell ya, To start off with everyone that posted comments to this thread of SILVERS was being theirselves. Obviously if youve been around so long and just sittin back in the shadows you should have been doing some reading and you would have seen that. And I doubt very seriously BULLET went outside and kicked his truck.LOL When you post pics on a site like this you got to be ready for comments and suggestions and as long as they are made in a freindly way they are all good. If someone post a pic of their truck on here and just wants all the good comments then they better go back to Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. It just gets my goat when someone who normally doesn't post much gets on here and jumps to the defense of a guy who doesn't need defending. If you don't like what you read in this thread then buddy, you in the wrong neighborhood!

Back on thread, I like what you did with the Clay bar bud.
Clay bar is the shizz.
I just finished my black truck yesterday and totally agree with you about how smooth the paint felt.
I took like 2 days/16 hrs+ to fully and meticulously clay bar, then anti swirl then carnauba wax my black truck by hand. No power tools involved.
I used all Meguires stuff and it was like dripping liquid black mirror gloss.
Awesome!!
But..............and here's the kicker, a local housing development restarted it's operation to build new houses close by. I guess this recession is lifting here in the UK as this site had been mothballed for 6 or so months and we've had no chew with them in this period.
Anywho......a 2 millimeter layer of fine dust sand and soil depostited itself all over my truck as they restarted building.
To say I was pissed is an understatement!
I'm totally disillusioned and fed up.
I complained to the local council about it and they said "they will look into it". Yeah right, don't hold my breath.
For the second year running, it looks like I'm gonna' have chew with this deveopler. I can't barbie, hang clothes out to dry my paintwork on the house is screwed, it's nothing short of big business vandalism. If I was to annoy my neighbours by building something and caused this much crap, the council would be all over me like a tick on a hound dawg!
What chance for the little guy???
Sorry........rant over.
Al.

I have all of the badges still from removing mine. I want to keep at least one of the hemi badges but you can take what you want from the rest of them (they will not be going back on my truck again I can assure you that much)..
