First Time To Clay Bar Pics!!
PM me if you like. We can talk.
As far as the developer's, now that is B.S. You can't be the only one raging mad about that! They are between a rock and a hard place though on how to control that.
However, they are insured and anything that would happen to your truck would be their responsibility. If you complain enough (which I would) and other's too, you could be able to have them buy you a car cover to help prevent that. Also, I'd call my insurance company and give them a heads up just in case they need to help with this situation in the future.
I've been through this when a local company painted their warehouse and the wind carried the overspray onto my truck and 400 other vehicles in the parking lot. The company's insurance cut us each a check for $499 bucks to go have the overspray buffed off. I pocketed the money and did it myself. My wifes car was there also and I paid to have hers professionally done. Her's was really bad.
Sounds overboard, but to protect yourself I'd go into the local police station with pictures and file a report. Start a paper trail and push the issue to take care of the situation.

Thanks for the kind words of support GETRAMMD.
I could have cried with frustration when I saw all this over my truck. Plus it's all over my sons black MR2 and all the house paintworks.
I have informed the local environment health dept who cover stuff like this for the last two years of this development. They keep saying "we will have a word". They have still to get back to me with what the developer is going to do.
If it's anything like last year, they will fill a dump truck (don't know what you'd call them in the USA?) with a front bucket full of water and trundle around the site spilling water over the dusty land. They did this on one day only. So, no regular sprying with a proper water truck meant for the job. It's just a "token gesteure" by the developer. All this is done on the cheap to cut costs down.
Problems are still happening. My family and I cannot have a barbie or go outside as we would inhale this fine particulate dirt, put clean washing out to dry, open our windows in the summer to enjoy cool air/air the house, as the dust settles over everything.
I'm taking your advise and logging everything and getting a paper trail and then I'm off to see the developer in person giving them the option to "do something" otherwise it's a law suit.
All this sounds like a major whinge fest but......I have tried to work with the developers but were now sick of living here. That's how bad it's got and we shouldn't be made to feel like that.
Anyway, once again, thanks for the help and kind words.
