Default 4.56 or 4.88 or other?

Hey all, (First post)

After looking through some threads, I still can't decide on gears.

I have a 2004 Ram1500 with a Hemi, 6" lift ,35" tires, intake, exhaust, programmer, but stock gears. (3.92 I think)

I will be doing some towing of Quads, dirt bikes, and maybe a pop up camper.

Which gears would you recommmend? Will I need a new front diff case?

On a side note, I still can't find how to adjust my headlights up and down.... Do I need to remove the whole thing for the adjustment?

Thanks ,
MusH

First off, 4.88 wont fit on a 4x4. That aside, your best bet is 4.56 without a doubt. The quad cabs are heavy trucks and it'll make a huge difference with the taller gears. Any of the gear sets will fit inside the stock housings.

Id go with the 4.56's, it be more than enough for your setup and what you need out of them.

4.56's is the way to go. I would say 4.88's for your application, with towing and bigger tires, but 4.88's wont fit in the front diff.

As far as adjusting the headlights, just tighten or loosen the screws that hold the headlights in. More tention on the screw, the more pull.
