Default Help With Eyelids

Hey everyone, I'm getting some new headlights in soon and was wondering if they made eyelids for the 02-05 ram, if not then how should I go about this? Should I take it to a tint shop or is it easy enough to do it myself?

Thanks

no eyelids for the 02-05, just 06+. you could tint the lights, but you're gonna lose some visibility

I don't think you could even make eyelids for 02-05 without sacrificing the light. Eyelids are generally for vehicles whose headlights have horizontal tops on them. The 02-05 is a vertical light.

Ive been wondering this very same thing for about week now. Ive cocme to the conclusion that woul dlose some visibility, however the 06+'s eyelids come down a little bit on the vertical side of the light too. Does anybody have any pics of this done? I would just like to see what this would look like...

i know i would lose some visibility but im getting 8000k HID's so i'm sure this will be kind of bright anyway..i wanted to start off in the corner of the light with a small tint and have it gradually get bigger as it goes towards the other side near the grille. Should I go to a tint shop and ask if they can do something like this?

Also, these are the lights i'm getting, I will have to install the HID kit myself though http://www.unique-coatings.com/angeleyes.html just wondering if anyone has seen these in person and how they look in person?

I was thinking about this on the way home today from work. My tint guy lives down the street from me, so i was going to drop by, and ask him if he would throw a quick strip on there, just to see what it would look like. But he wasnt home, dang it. I will have to try another time.

Im actually getting really interested in it, so you might see some kind of hybrid eyelid from me here in the future, NEAR FUTURE!!! muahahahahahahahahaha.....

Believe me, you're not the first to think about this. Supposedly they were supposed to be coming to our trucks a while ago. I've looked quite a bit into this, and we actually wouldn't lose any light from them. They make styles like ours on 06+ lights.

Two pictures I made of these lights. Shouldn't be hard to make, just to have someone actually make them.
