I installed the True Flow XDI today! w/pics
Man I can't believe how awesome this makes the truck sound. I have a couple of friends that are tuner's and I took them for a ride today... All they had to say was "I am jealous" and they had this expression on their face
. My other friend said this was the most manly sounding truck she had ever heard.
4 banger tuners cant compare to the power of a good old V8. I am somehow managing 15mpg and that is including 70% city driving and that is all hammering the gas as well. I can't wait til my next tank of gas to when I go back to driving normal to figure out what I am really getting for mileage.

truckaddons.com ... It was $280 there and everywhere else I looked had it for $340. You do need to have either an extension wire or power wire to hook up the air sensor though. It is probably my favorite mod thus far.....
I hope you don't have to get emissions??

- CARB approval is still pending for the True Flow XDI. Until certified, the XDI isn't cleared for street use in emissions-controlled states.
Yeah I do have emissions. I don't throw any codes so it shouldn't be any problems. I still have the stock one if I need to use it. If the K&N and BFI's can pass then the True Flow should as well. Illinois is not as bad as california.
I still want to do gibson headers, free flow magnaflow spun cats, a magnaflow y-pipe, and a 5x8 magnaflow muffler. As long as I disconnect the battery each time it won't throw any codes and the PCM will read it as normal, which should cause it to pass the test without a problem.
