Default Powdercoating Grille Inserts

Does anybody know if the metal grille inserts on our trucks can be powdercoated? They look to be metal, but you never know these days. If they can, what do you guys think of the chrome metal inserts in my grille being powdercoated black to make it entirely black up front? I just am unsure if the chrome adds a nice accent to the truck or not. I know a guy that powdercoats extremely cheap. He did many parts for my brother's truck for amazing prices. Had also thought of the idea of buying these headlights to make it all black:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...link:middle:us

Here is my front end currently:

What kind of applicant would I use to paint the grille inserts if they cannot be powdercoated? Aside from having them powdercoated, do you think having the grille all black would look nice, or do you think the chrome inserts add a nice touch of contrast? I'd really hate to ruin something that looks cool stock.

If you are going to black out more parts I would say go black. But if it is the only thing you are thinking of changing I would say leave it as is. Here is what mine looks like black to give you an idea.

The color match I got from Pepboys worked good on the grill and on the door handles. I think you will be fine using it.
