Behind the bag hook is a screw. Take that out. At that point, the center stack is only held in by hooks. Open the ashtray and cup holder. Run your fingers along the bottom of the center stack bezel (where it meets up with the top of the ashtray and cupholder). Pull toward you, working your hands around toward the shifter. Somewhere along there, you'll be able to get your fingers in enough to jerk the panel toward you. Not too much -- there's a wiring harness or two connected to the panel. Once the panel is off, there are four 8mm screws holding the stock audio system. Take those out and the whole unit will come right to you. Unclip the wiring harness and antenna cable.

the 03-05 dashes arnt like the 06-08, the older models are held in by screws unlike are tinker toy dashes, now everything is snap on snap off, no unscrewing needed..

i found it was easier to take the screws out the dash piece under the steering column and the one out of the bag hook and the center just snapped down the whole center piece and it was easier to work with that way just like stated before you need to becareful all you temp conrol wire are hooked still i removed mine so i could put the center piece in the back seat while i was in there hope this helps if you need more just ask....
