Bought an 03 Ram 4x4 with hemi v-8 and I am in the midst of doing alot of maintenance the previous owner neglected. Truck has 113,000 miles. I can turn the pcv valve counter clockwise from the lock position - but it doesn't want to release. Any tips on removing this.

Rotate old valve 90 degrees counterclockwise and pull it out.
