Default Lift install prices

What's up everyone? I'm getting ready to lift my 04 1500 and I'm finding out that they are kind of a pain in the *** to lift, as in they take a little longer than other half ton trucks. Anyways, what's the ballpark price of what you guys have been paying to have your lifts installed? I was told about 12 hours for the suspension and 6 hours for the body. At one of the shops I might go with, that'd be about $1700 for install only. OUCH!

I did my own lift over a weekends time. 3'' spindle lift with a 2'' coil lift and 3'' shackle lift. Cost.......zero.

Well you definitely can't beat zero! I'm pretty sure I don't want to attempt the suspension and body lift myself though.

I cant speak on the BL personally because I never did one but I did contemplate it at one point and still may do so later on. I read over the PA site for thier BL and looked like I could handle it. But about that time I got a those lift spindles and shackles so I went that route instead. The lift spindles are easy to do on your own. When doing the shackles I would have someone with me. While I did do it by myself, it was a PITA because one I let loose the spring from the shackle and had to pull it back down to re-align it with ht enew shackle.
