I decided to start another thread on this to attract more people and their opinon's...Ok, the new headlights are coming in tomorrow and I am putting eyelids on them for those of you who don't know. What should I go with for the eyelids? Chrome Vinyl? Or use another material and paint it the color of the truck? If that, what's the material used for that called?

if you are willing to wait a week, i'll take my spare set and just spray them from the inside. The paint might not hold up, but that's y I got the spares.

 

and i am spraying the outside of mine this weekend so you can see that next week. i dont think you will get a paintable or chrome material that will work with that style light just my .02

thats what i want to do but i dont think there is a material out there that will be able to be painted..i may have to go chrome, i don't think black will look good if i just do a vinyl or use the niteshades

 

get the headlight covers that rh got. trim them off to make the eyelid and paint them. i think thats what 04 was gonna do

the only thing is i want the eyelids to cut off the light so it won't blind drivers plus it will look mean..basically like jay's truck, just an 02-05 form of eyelids
