Default Fabtech ....

I am currently installing my fabtech 6'' kit on my 03 1500 crew cab. Everything is going decent except i only have one leaf spring for the rear on each side? No blocks,? just the add a leaf? Is this correct. I guess i just dont see this being in sync with the front? Also what is the ride going to be like it seems like my shocks will top out? fabteh wasnt very helpful either when i called them this morning. any help would be great?

first off its a Quad Cab secondly, welcome to the forum. if your kit didnt come with longer shocks you'll definently need new shocks. I went with Fox Racing Nitrogen 2.0. They're amazing... cant talk enough about em. As for the leafs, to my knowledge thats all you need. You should see a substantial difference in size between the stock leaf and the new leaf. Fabtech is a good choice. You should be really happy with it. Ride is awesome, and even better off road (especially with a great set of shocks)

you will like the lift and the ride. the add a leaf should give you the right amount of lift as for the shocks yeah you will need longer shocks. my system came with new shocks for the rear and uses the factory set up for the front.

Hmm do you have the fox shocks all the way around, or just in the back. I might just have to upgrade, do you have the specs on the shocks?

Is the fabtech lift worth the money? I have an 08 4x4 1500 quad cab and am putting 35" km2's on it tomorrow and am now looking for a good lift

i have the 6" fabtech with the addaleaf. im not a big fan of the addaleaf, the front sits about 1/2" higher that the rear with no load. And the rear end just about comes off the ground over speedbumps. my plans are to remove it, block the rear, and install airbags to handle the weight/load better. just my opinion.....

from reviews I've read, fabtech is the best performing 6" lift out there. If you're only looking for looks, the fabtech is probably a little pricey
