Hi gang....newbie here.
Reading some posts and i'm already much wiser! Got my truck last week from a dealer-everything's great but sat radio(song interruptus extreme)is a pain, also, noticed the drive shaft has quite a bit of rust.
I'm guessing it's common to rust sitting in the lot.......but is it something i should get in a tizzy over??

Driveshaft is nothing to get Sapranos about. It wont effect the integrity of it any.

Come on man, you can't post up a thread like this without some pics of the new rig. Do have any details about it to hold us over until you get some pics?

 

 

I hated the OEM satellite radio. It took forever from when you changed the channel until the time the music started to play. It was like a 4 or 5 sec delay. very annoying when finding something you like. i swapped for a Pioneer f90bt.
I had rust on my driveshaft as well when i bought mine last year. i lightly sanded the lower half and sprayed flat black high temp paint on it to "clean" it up a little bit, but I'm just **** like that and i was underneath doing some undercoating as well.

 

My shaft was rusted too. I just primered and painted. Its flat silver now...
