Random Electrical Plug?
I have an 06 mega cab 1500. On the drivers side under the interior trim piece following the window edge up, I noticed a slight little buldge. Looking from outside through window I see a little white electrical connection with nothing in attached to it. Any idea what it is? I lookes to be about a 1/2" by 1/4" in size.
That's for your shields.

Heres a link to your wiring diagram. You can confirm or deny my answer in there...

So does anyone have an idea? Really, I looked over diagrams, but I am not planning on taking all my trim out to what the colors are and where the wires go. The only real reason I noticed it was because of a small/slight buldge in the interior trim piece.
The digrams provided do not really show any locations at all, unless you already knew what was going on.

that plug is meant for if you have cab roof lights as stated before. its cheaper for chrysler to mass produce one version of a vehicle and add components to differtiate between 1500, 2500, 3500, CTD, hemi, etc. if you ever decide to add cab roof lights, which you probally wont, it comes in very handy and you can tap right into the wires right there rather than running through the dash and to the battery.
