Default doing my taillights....done with pics!!!!!!yes pics.....

well the weather is cooperating enough for me to do my lights with metro decals smoked vinyl as of right now one light is completed and it would def be easier with another person. now the only thing im worried about is the soapy water im supposed to spray the lights with and the vinyl will it dry under there and not be visible cause of right now its vivible when my lights are on? and that will lok like crap in the end im not looking at it from behind cause im the driver but it makes it look bad to others....ort speak up on this i been checking on here to see where you are so i could get ur opinions.....thanx

dont use alot of soap... you dont want it bubbling under tint. its just to allow you to scretch the vinyl without scratching it and pressing it out....

Hey man, sorry it took me so long to see this but I just got home a little bit ago. When doing the tint, I found that with the first light I used too much of the soapy water solution and it left little bubbles under the tint. So to get rid of them I just used the heat gun on the spots and it dried up the bubbles. Then I just pressed down where the bubble was and the tint stuck.

When I got to the second light I wised up and used only a minimal amount of the soapy solution, just enough to allow me to move the tint around to get it into position. I found that worked much better bc it didn't leave any bubbles under the tint that I had to go back and heat out.
