Double check to make sure you have enough freon in it. You could have a slow leak and have lost some of the freon. Low on freon will cause the compressor to kick off just like you are describing. Rams are infamous for leaking at the condenser under the dash and it is a pain in the butt to change out.

Thanks ... I just double checked again and the refrigerant pressure is perfect ... so I know the refrigeration system is good ... I must have a problem with the electrical or mechanical ... I am guessing mechanical.
