Default just got a code reader. now a couple of q's

ok i got 3 codes showing
1st... P0157 2/2 02 Sens Shorted To Ground. does that mean i have a crack/split in my wire somewhere touching metal, and were is this bank 2 sensor 2 thing anyway so i can start tracing wires.
2nd...P0404 EGR Pos Sens Rationality
3rd...P0406 EGR Pos Sens Volts Too Hi
do these mean my egr alve is toast and needs replacing? any info and advice would be greatly appreciated. ps. its a 04 1500

oh and as you can tell i did do some digging myself to come up with the discriptions of the codes rather then just ask others to do that for me, just not mech inclined to know where this stuff is or how to fix it.

I would bet you need an 02 and egr.

the egr sensor volts too high is most likely because the windings in teh stepper motor are shorting causing a loss of resistance and the pcm is seeing that.
