yeah but he wants his cake and to eat it too so bags and the shackles
would be sweet actually its would be the same as doing a level on the front so that would be sweet imo

Alright heres the pics with shackles. The truck still isn't level bu it is lowered. Eventually i'm going to get around to removing the overload spring which should fix it. The truck handles better as well. I think the bigger tires help a bit too

I have drop shackles and I have towed trailers, about 3500 lbs, and have had no issues.

I have a 1.5 inch drop on mine and now it gives a squeak, did anyone else have this problem? I think I need to grease 'em up or something cause it is beginning to get on my nerves.......

This is my first Ram. I don't like the back bumper hitting me in the chest. So I looked at the springs and saw that shorter shackles are needed, but there is hardly any room to lower. Maybe 2" max with shackles. I would like to get the back down about 3" or more to get the truck more level. Does any company sell specially made springs that would do that?

I had Beltech 3" drop leaf springs on my 03 that I bought through Summit Racing.

Thumbs up summit racing

I have bought a lot from summit a few years ago. I'll see if they have the springs for my '08.
Thanks.
