drop shackles... ??
usually people who put drop shackles do it because they don't tow anything. The back end is only up that high so it has room to lower under pressure from trailers/cargo. I keep forgetting to get some pics. I have plenty of before pics so I'll take some current ones and post them tomorrow.
would be sweet actually its would be the same as doing a level on the front so that would be sweet imo
Alright heres the pics with shackles. The truck still isn't level bu it is lowered. Eventually i'm going to get around to removing the overload spring which should fix it. The truck handles better as well. I think the bigger tires help a bit too

well first off my tongue weight doesnt exceed 500lbs at any time all i tow is two 4 wheelers on a 5x8 trailer and sometimes use the same trailer to tow yard waste and the occasioal homedepot trip im not towing heavy or alot and all the drop shacles do is lower the body so my strength is still there right.....ive got a 2wd truck i dont go off roading much maybe to get to trails or riding spot but im not dumb enough to bottom it out ill still have plenty of clearance for where i go....
I have a 1.5 inch drop on mine and now it gives a squeak, did anyone else have this problem? I think I need to grease 'em up or something cause it is beginning to get on my nerves.......

This is my first Ram. I don't like the back bumper hitting me in the chest. So I looked at the springs and saw that shorter shackles are needed, but there is hardly any room to lower. Maybe 2" max with shackles. I would like to get the back down about 3" or more to get the truck more level. Does any company sell specially made springs that would do that?
I had Beltech 3" drop leaf springs on my 03 that I bought through Summit Racing.
buy 2" mcgaughy's drop shackles from moes performance and remove your overload leaf it will level out your truck perfectly this thread is old enough that i had not done it yet but mine has been like this over a yr now and its good and no problems at all....
