03 TMR delete mod.
like i said, i don't have it either. i climbed in my engine bay and looked under everything, my truck definitely does not have it. Guess Dodge changed something along the lines on the '03's
Most 03 engine computers are on the passenger front fender against the firewall. This is the first time I've seen one pictured nearer the headlight, unless it was moved there just to take the pics.
My Hemi was just on the passenger front fender against the firewall, as well.
Also, many 03 Hemi's just have a 3 plug PCM and then a seperate Autobox controller.
Mine has a 4 plug PCM plus the autobox controller.
I guess the upshot is, that over the 02/03 years, Dodge used what was to hand in building these trucks as and when upgrades became available?
That's the only thing I can think of.
Al.

Take some picture of the passenger side engine bay.....then we can all get a look
Just got done doing this mod, only took 4 hours! Of course there is a reason it took so long. I was putting the harness back on and over tightened the bolt and snapped it off, my Dad always told me I didn't know my own strength.
Its a LONG story but I ended up getting plumbers strap to hold down the harness, good thing is is that you can really see it with all the wires in the way.
Took her out for a test drive and she shifts better and smoother. Went WOT and there was no lag in between shifts, she just kept pulling.

I just did the TMR mod today and didn't notice any change. I'm using a SC3865 tuner and when I installed the turner I felt a big improvement with shifting and acceleration. So I guess it's as good as it gets. Don't get me wrong I'm delighted with how it runs, just didn't feel it change from what the tuner had already done.
I recently did this mod myself, and it works pretty well. I wouldn't say it is an incredibly amazing improvement, but it is very noticeable for sure. I should mention that I did unhook my battery, to reset everything. Biggest noticeable thing for me is that my tranny seems to shift much faster and more smoothly now than it did before. When going on the freeway and rapidly accelerating to merge and such, it is just a smooth, continuous "flow" up to speed. I would highly recommend doing it, as putting it back to the way it was before is a piece of cake.
I do have one question though. If I were to hook up a scan tool to my truck, like the ones a dealer would use, would there be any error codes or things of that nature showing up on the tool? I'm curious, because if I ever take my truck in, I don't want them trying to sell me unneeded repairs due to an error that is not really a problem.

I don't know if the TMR mod will throw a error (I haven't seen one) but believe me the dealer will find something to fix when you go in. They pretty much treat everyone as fools. I have belt buckles older then most of these so called experts.
