Yes, it'll affect mileage...you will love the crisp shifts at WOT and will run it up every time!

I just did this to my Ram after reading this post...It made the shifts a lot smoother to me. Took all of about 10 mins to do as well...hardest part was removing the dead bee and spiderweb that was inside the harness lol

My programmer (3715) made a huge difference in shift speed & firmness but I don't know if that has anything to do with torque management or just line pressures. I'll try the wire tomorrow anyway.

i also have the SC and trust me, the SC doesnt affect TM at all...only WOT shift rpms and firmness

From what I read on the Flashpaq forum, they don’t do anything with line pressure, all they do is reduce the torque management.

Although, I would like to see how the truck performs with the torque management totally disabled.

WOW, I'm so glad I posted up and reurected this old free mod.
I hope everyone who's done it enjoys it and for those just sitting on the sidelines like I did for months no wanting to both to do it.........GET HER DONE lol lol.

yeah i did this free mod like a year ago and it was the best thing ive done to the truck... well since lifting it.. lol

wow, i cant believe ive never heard of this, ive been around here for a while too, jeez i guess i need to start paying more attention. im doing this right now before the old lady wakes up and freaks out about it.

ok i have a problem,
i dont seem to have a wiring harness like the ones pictured.
all i have is the pcm, and the wiring underneath the fuse center.


am i SOL on this or am i looking in the wrong spot?

ok apparantly this only works with the 545RFE tranny? dam the luck
