Well I finally got the boat out yesterday. This was my first chance to tow my boat with my truck this year. After hearing about how bad the 3.55's were with towing and rebuilding my trans last Winter, I was a bit nervous about hooking up to my 4000+lb boat and trailer. Well I have to say that the truck handled perfectly. I was very pleased with the way the motor pulled the boat right up to speed. The driveability was great, I could hardly even tell the boat was back there. I used my buddy's truck last year which was a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 with the Hemi and of course that hauled it no problem. I have to say my truck did just as good. I am glad I have the mod's I have and the truck is running great. Just thought I would share.

 

thats great. Yet i never towed anything like that at all. I just bought the truck for fun and wanted to be different from my families that never had truck at all.

 

3.55's get a bad rap....sure there's better ratios out there but for me it's a good mix of acceleration and fuel efficiency.
