Default Another intake question

I have a drop in filter right now. I want to install a whole CAI kit. What's the best value for the $$$ that removes the Hemi hat?
Before anyone says go check the Faq's section. Already did. there's just a poll on what intake everyone is running. That does not help me out. And no, I don't wanna fab up something ugly out of PVC from the local hardware store. I've got $350 to burn. What's my option?
Also, any filters out there that don't need to be oiled? I think K&N, S&B both have to be oiled. Is oiling better? I thought it sludges up the t/b or something.

Thanks to those who have the patience to answer and not respond with a "search function" statement because they are all the same finds.

1. Best intake for $$$ that removes hemi hat
2. To oil or not to oil?
Thank You

There are pros and cons to all the CAI's on the market, it's all your personal preference. As far as the question, to oil or not to oil, i have always run the K&N and the like filters. Haven't had a TB issue, as far as oil, since I put a filter on my PCV system and I run a twin filter intake system.

Leave the stock air box and get a Airaid MIT tube to eliminate the Hemi Hat. That's what I'm going to do since I already have a K&N drop in filter.
Fits 02 to 08 Hemi http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...5082&viewitem=

Bear, you have a pic of the filter set-up?
SilverBullet, I'll check into both. Thanks
lxman1, do you think the stock box flows enough? Do you think if I got the tub and poked another hole in my stock box that would do the trick?

I checked it out here > http://airflowinnovationscorp.com/intakes/bfi.html#

Does the filter go into the fenderwell or is it inside the engine compartment? I'd rather stay away from an open filter if I can. Is it possible to get a CAI with a closed air filter and has breather tubes or something? I just don't wanna chance sucking up water.

Yes the stock filter has plenty of area for more than enough air flow. It inlet is pretty larg as is, another hole would make it even better.
The MIT flows 400cfm more than the Hemi Hat. That's a lot!!
