I got the Air Lift bags from Amazon.com on sale for $179, I also picked up a Recon tailgate Firelight for only $45 too. I took me about 3-4 hours total because it was kickin at 90 degrees outside. Believe it or not I had a set of Harbor Freight Titanium drill bit set I paid about $15 for them, had all the bit's I needed. I did go slow and started with a 1/4" bit then a 9/16 then the 5/16 for the self tapper. Then I used the 3/8 to finish it up, just go slow and use a lot of WD-40 and hold your drill steady and with both hands. Yeah I didn't hold it with both hands on the first pass with the 3/8th drill and it popped out of my hand and flipped all over the place, I'm ok and the drill is still alive and kickin.

When I placed the top bracket on the frame I was worried about the air line connector hitting that part of the frame/bed support so I took a crescent wrench and bent it up and out of the way. It ended up being a "non" factor on the install but I just didn't want to get it all in there and then it be a problem. I won't do this body mod to my SRT/10 if I ever get one that is. I'm going to clean and repaint the support bracket soon.

I did an air valve install into in to the back next to the license plate. There is this removable cover plate for a trailer hook up plug-in. There are four holes that only two are used by the cover plate. So I mounted the valves in two of them. They stick out about 1/2" but I made a bracket out of some aluminum stock as a deterrent to knocking the valves out.

I'm hoping to upload the rest of the pictures tonight. Next is the leveling kit.

i just unpacked my bag helpers and i think u bought a not so great kit..... mine doesnt have any drilling required at all, u just remove the bump stop and the bag bolts onto there, and then one u-bolt around the axle, no drilling required. I think this kit is alot better maybe?

I have the Arnott Airbag system. Paid $225 shipped Mounts exatly where you stated. No drilling involved and some HD hardware. 5K lbs bags by Goodyear. However, i cannot use these bags with a lift(I prob. could fab up a block of somesort) Also, it lifted the back of my truck 3/4" from stock even with running the minimum 5lbs of pressure. At 40lbs my *** end jumps up about 1" more. 40lbs held all of about 1200lbs of Oak logs that I put in my bed with no problems.

Easy on, easy off, only problem is you cannot use them with a lift kit. I checked into it before buying my Air Lifts. Because of the way the the Air Lifts mount (I welded mine instead of drilling btw), you can still install either a suspension or body lift, or both...

Your kit is fine, just as long as you don't plan on a lift...
