Default Spare tire

For those who have 35" + size tires, where do you keep your spare? does it fit underneath the truck where to stock spare is kept? I was thinking about getting the prerunner style that mounts on an angle in the box, but im not sure how much space that actually takes up does anyone have one?

anyone? I want to get a bigger spare tire but don't want to just have it laying in the box.

I'm not a big fan of that make, do you know if a 35" or 37" tire will fit where the stock spare tire is?

my tires are 31.5" tall and its pretty tight in there, you might just have to go with the bed mount option, or get a roof rack and throw it up there.

forget it, no way a 35" will fit under there. I still have the stock spare underneath, but I don't know why. I just carry a complete tire repair kit, air compressor and an off-road vehicle size can of fix-a-flat in the toolbox and hope I don't need to use it.

Oh and I run a 6 ply tread with 3 ply sidewall rated tire to kinda help in the puncture regard...

Damn Kicker, I wonder if they make it roomier under there now? I have the stock 31.5" under there, and it don't look like a 33" tire would fit on my '04
