Default Installed the Air Lift bags with pic's

Hey all I just finished installing my Air Lift 2000 bags yesterday and the ride is GREAT!! You can tell the differance right away just taking the curves arond town and down the road. Even the drive way bump from the road feels different. I went with about 10 psi in them for now because there is no weight in the bed but an empty truck box I'm modifiying, but thats another story for another post.

I hope I can get the install pictures up loaded to show it off. I guess only 5 attachments at a time. I'll add the others in the next posting.

I guess I need to do an album to upload the rest of my pictures. The hardest thing is drilling the 16 holes, yess I did drill through that extra hole but didn't need it for the self tapper screw. Anyone know why there is that single self tapper instead of a through bolt?? There was room for a nut and washer on the back side this setup has the holes coming right through the senter of the brake cable bracket and the brake line with lots of space.

Anyone can PM me if they have questions on the install. Stay cool, H-

What brand of air bags did you go with? And how many drill bits did you go through drilling all those holes in the frame?

The self taper is to hold it in place while you drill the other holes. Just a guess.

yea I'd like to know that also. And how much did it end up being total?

I was trying to drill through my frame the other day with a new Dewalt metal bit. It went dull before getting halfway through.

I got a set o no drill that go between the frame and axle. These replace the bump stop and real easy to install. I will get some pics up tomorrow. Mine are from Arnott air suspension and use contra air bags.
