What rear end do I have?
I just got a 2002 dodge 1500 4x4 quad cab slt. It has a 4.7 v8. Was wondering if anyone knew what rear ends they put in this year/make/model/. thanks

it's a 9.25 Chrysler rear end, and the gear ratio is either 3.55 or 3.92, good bet it's 3.92 if you have a factory tow package.

i wish mine came with that, ive got factory tow package and still 3.55 (those bastardos)

Did you buy new or have the window sticker that shows that? if used, someone could have installed a Factory aftermarket tow package. Just a thought?
