Chevy man just traded for 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 Quad Cab, 392 gears. 20 inch tires, 5.7 Hemi. Really happy with the way it tows. Curious if I added a glass pack behind my y pipe and got rid of the resonators how loud would that be and opinions on how it would improve my fuel mileage. I have a 5 speed auto transmission and am very happy with it. Was wondering if there are any issues or problems of light towing using the 5 speed. I have heard there are problems with the oil pumps and c clips in the rear end and would like any ones opinions or suggestions. Has any one every put a shift kit in the 5 speed transmission. If so, was it hard to do?

 

im not a fan of the 5 speed myself. I dont do much towing but it likes to shift up when u go up hills.
