Just figure 18% below what a DynoJet reads compared to what it actually is. A DynoJet gets the job done, but sometimes can be a little inconsistent from what I have heard. If you can I would reserve 1 hour. I have been on a Dyno numerous times and if your sitting there playing with a single tune. You will run out of time beofre you get what you want to accomplish.
I would run the truck as is. Exactly how you drive it in the parking lot. Tweak a little on that tune for maybe 3 or 4 pulls to get all the juice you can. Then run one last time with the cut-out open and see the difference. I would hold out til the end for the cut-out, especially if you only have 1/2hour.
realistically you want to run once, then let the car sit in front of the fan for 10 minutes. Do it again. Again...etc. 3 pulls for every 1/2hour figure.

Thats what I was planning on doing, run it like I usually do everyday of the week. I cant do to much teeking on anything so I may adjust the shift points a little depending and see what if anything that does, and then run the cutout open on the last pull.

Just don't get all upset and disappointed if on your first pull, it doesn't do as good as you would have hoped. You'll be trying things and just wasting too much time. I would only change ONE parameter at a time. For ex. Don't change your fuel trims and shift points at once. Do a pull in between. This eliminates bad moves and then you'll waste more pulls figuring out which change got you there.

I am more curious to see how the pulls go when you get that cam in with the DSP tune as compared to the runs you pull tomorrow. Since you are putting the same cam in that I am thinking of using with the same tuner, I want to see how big of a jump in power you get.

Also, did you say that you are doing a run with the cutout open as compared to the cutout closed? I am curious to see what difference it makes.

Thats basically the whole point of doing it, as a comparison to what it'll be like after everything else gets put on.

And yes after consistently getting slower 0-60 times with the cutout open vs running through the catback, I want to see what it is really doing for the setup right now.

What are stock dyno numbers supposed to be on the hemi? At the wheels not what the dealers tell you it has (at the crank)
