I have a 5.7L Dodge Ram 1500, year 2003. Right now I have JBA headers and stock CAT with a Flowmaster exhaust that dumps before the right rear tire. I want to put a cutout for my exhaust before my CAT. Has anyone done this? Does anyone have any suggestions?

 

Most people (myself included) put them after the cat. Putting them before could get you to throw codes Im sure. But Im still running stock headers and so I couldnt put mine in front of my cats. And besides, IDK about an 03 but an 04 has a cat right off of each manifold so you would need two if you do it like that.
