Default 2006 HIDS in Fogs

OK I read about 200 pages of HID stuff on here and everyone has a different way of doing it.....ressitors, capacitors, harnesses, ect. I asssume the 06-08 is different than the 02-05 nobody addresses this? What the heck do I need to put HIDS in my stock Hella Fog lights for an 06? Please do not say use the search thing because I did and there are about 12 different things it says to do! Thanks in advance

I just installed the HID's in my fogs and the work just fine, didn't have to do anything. Just put the bulbs in and wire them up.

If you get a cheap kit from ebay or something then you need relays and resistors. The good kits come with them. But thats for the headlights. I dont think you need any of that for fogs. I know mine doesnt have any of that and was all PnP.

Don't need anything for the fogs.
Just plug them in and your good to go.
The mains are a different case altogeather.
I've done both and bought from a very reputable vendor ie Twiggy.
That's the key especially for the mains.....a reputable vendor and your instalation will go sweet!

Thanks a ton guys. It just gets really confusing reading all that. Anyone used these cheapees? http://www.vvme.com/ I want just the fogs so if they do glare a lot at others on the road I can turn them off when there is other traffic. How bright will that be with stock headlight bulbs and HIDs in the foggers? Is it worth it or am I better off getting the full deal from twiggy?

It will be worth it. That's what I am running right now and I you can really tell the difference the fogs are really bright with HID's you'll be really amazed. I had alot of people come up to be while in a drive through or something and say "wow those are some bright lights" and that just HID's in my fogs. Really good on highways.

I just got a cheap ebay kit paid $40 for it. There is no resistors or anything, just the 2 bulbs, 2 ballsts, and the wiring.
