My mod was disabling it with my Diablo tuner.
If you get a catback, you won't need the light to tell you when it's in MDS annoyance...lol

I did notice that the mds does not kick on until the truck is fully warmed up, so I am not sure if guys with 180 t-stats would have trouble with it not letting the mds activate. Anyone heard of this or have mds with the stat? Just a thought

My truck went into MDS before being fully warm. 180* stat should have no effect of MDS operation.

strange.....would a "power wire" affect any of this. I just made my own at the same time as installing the indicator light

Mine came on at about any temp. I did the Dirtydog mod myself. No more MDS I still get 20mpg + on the highway @65mph.

wh do you disable? Exhaust tone? With that 20mpg is that calculated out or the overhead display? My overhead display is off by almost 2mpg!

It means getting a tuner and disabling MDS via program.
